Full House

Walking into this scene is a restaurant owner's dream. We are blessed to have you as customers and friends. Thanks for another record-breaking week!

More Lone Star State Visitors

This was an especially great week for us as we got to see The Windhams, our friends from Texas {see first photo}. Bryan and Shannon have been friends for almost twenty years and were groomsmen in eachother's weddings. We always love hanging out with them, including little Preston, who always has tricks up his sleeve. {This time it was a handbuzzer from Movies by the Sea!!!}

We serve spaghetti, too!

Did you know our Baked Spaghetti is one of our most popular menu items? We top spaghetti marinara with an ingredient of your choice {think chicken or mushrooms} and bake it. It's served with a salad and twisted breadstick. Just ask this little one. It's delish!

Waiting for table scraps

Unfortunately for our four-legged friends, there isn't always much pizza left.

Matchy Matchy

These adorable girls are our friends' kids from Texas. Two of them belong to Kevin & Beata, who own a great pizza place in Flower Mound, TX called Pazzo. The fun family in white & khaki attire obviously had just come from their beach photo session, but they joked with me that they'd posed for a Gap ad.

One year!

Well, we made it. Pizza by the Sea has been open for one whole year. Appropriately enough, the adorable cousins who dined with us on our first night were at the pizza place last night, so we tried to recreate their photo from last year. I think it's funny that we didn't have anything outside then except sidewalk chalk {which the mean ol' landlords have since made us remove}. Thanks to everyone who helped make our first year so great. We hope to be blessed enough to be here for many, many more.

Reflections of Father's Day

What a great day. I attempted to cook the wonderful Daddy in our lives breakfast. This usually involves smoke alarms, burned pans and polite smiles that only indicate pity for my lack of cooking acumen. {Yes, there is a reason I am not allowed in the kitchen at the pizza place.} This time, I did ruin one dish, then tried to make up for it with my Happy Family Jigglers which I snapped a photo of, then forgot to serve with breakfast. My hard-working husband spent the rest of the day at the restaurant so other great Daddies could have pizza for dinner. So the little one and I headed to one of our favorite places, Cantina Laredo, for dinner, then played in the fountains. We knew if he had to work, at least he'd want us to have some fun. Just another one of the reasons we love him. :)

Happy Father's Day

This is dedicated to the man we love. You are the most amazing Dad. Our little one's face lights up when you walk into the room. She loves building castles, riding bikes and playing airplane with you - not to mention using you as a human bounce house. Thank you for providing for our family and being a "present" Dad amidst your crazy schedule. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for indulging our "girly" moments. Thank you for making us laugh. Thank you for giving us so much to celebrate today. We are so blessed to have you.

Happy "2" Little Man

You've come a long way, Baby.

Cousins!

Someone was quite thrilled to see her cousins from Texas.
