That's the word that comes to mind when I think of baby Hadley {see original post here}. I got to meet her the day she came home from the hospital and she is beyond perfect and tiny and gorgeous and sweet. It would be selfish of me not to share this beautiful angel here with you. Enjoy.

See & Be Seen: Rainy Night

If you read this blog, you've heard us brag about Claire countless times. She has been our partner in crime at Pizza by the Sea since we opened and continued to work with us throughout her pregnancy. We are thrilled to let you know that her beautiful baby girl Hadley Elizabeth arrived Monday at 10:50 a.m. weighing 7 lbs, 5 oz and measuring 20 1/2 inches. Proud Daddy David sent us this photo and we're hoping to snap some of our own when we get to meet her in person. We couldn't be happier for this sweet couple and their new miracle. We know Baby Hadley will bring joy to so many!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We celebrated Thanksgiving early in Texas last week with an amazing home-cooked meal courtesy of my mother in law {ie: Martha Stewart}, football at the neighborhood park, a trip to the zoo and most importantly, treasured time with family. We're having a little celebration of our own today and giving our employees a much deserved day off. We are so thankful for our God, family, friends, employees and customers. We know that our success depends upon you and we hope we never miss an opportunity to show our gratitude. We wish you a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving!

So we call it Trivia Night, but actually it's more like Comedy + Trivia when it's hosted by Kevin Boyle. We've moved Trivia Night to Thursdays at 6:00, because of all of the fun events happening around here on Fridays. So bring your own team or join another one tonight while you munch on pizza and enjoy a beverage or two. The topic is MOVIES. We're hoping Kevin will bring this guy who is like a one-man comedy show himself. We were lucky enough to catch him at the Flutterby Festival during improv story time, and we think he's the bomb.com {Are we young enough to use that vernacular?}.

One great dentist

We're so lucky to live in an area with experts in their fields who are also really nice people. One of those is Russell Richardson, a partner in Parkway Dental. The facility is gorgeous, the employees are extremely friendly and the procedures are comfortable and as painless as possible {as I can unfortunately attest}. Russell is one of those guys who immediately makes his patients feel at ease. He is great with people of all ages. Even little ones are introduced to the world of denistry with "happy visits." It is also impressive how tech-savvy the office is with text message and/or email reminders about upcoming appointments. We always love seeing Russell and his family at Pizza by the Sea and would love to recommend him to our customers. Just check out the pearly whites on this beauty!
