We just discovered one of 30A's best kept secrets! It's called Seaside Stables and right now, it's home to a Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival. Each Saturday and Sunday through Halloween, families can visit for pony rides, hay rides, pumpkin painting, bounce houses, feeding/petting animals and so much more. It's also a great place to pick out some gorgeous pumpkins to take home with you.

Seaside Stables is conveniently located on Highway 393 {like Ocean Nails we recommended yesterday}. From 98, head south and it will be on your left. For more info, check out their website. The prices are very reasonable and what's even better is that half the proceeds will benefit their organization that rescues horses. According to Mary Jo, who owns Seaside Stables, they're considering hosting a Christmas festival. They also board horses and offer lessons, and we think it would be a great place to host a birthday party. Thanks Mary Jo for such a fun day. We are so excited to have found your place. Many of us have let go of life's little "luxuries" in this economy. Luckily, the nice folks at Ocean Nails allow you to pamper yourself at a reasonable price. To compete in these crazy times, they're offering $25 pedicures. This place is owned by the nicest people with the most comfortable massage chairs in town. For your mini diva, they offer $10 pedis. Such a bargain and they'll even paint flowers on her little piggies. Ocean Nails is located in Santa Rosa Beach on Hwy 393, just north of Gulf Place. Most everyone is looking to save money these days, so we're going to dedicate a few posts to local bargains. We'll focus on other businesses, but given that this is our first post, we're going to tell you about ours:

• Local's Discount Card - 20% off dinners for take out or dine in seven days a week. Just ask for your Local's Card next time you visit us. This discount is good on our entire menu as well as drinks, including beer and wine by the glass or bottle.


• Lunch Punch Card - Get punched every time you visit us during lunch and after just eight visits, your lunch is free! This is a great bargain since our lunch specials start at just $3.99 and include a drink.

Have you heard about our Trivia Nights every Friday? They are a fun chance to wine, dine, exercise your brain and laugh a whole lot! You can bring a team of two or more or join another one - the more, the merrier. Our super duper sound system even allows you to hear what's going on and participate outside, so come enjoy the gorgeous (please let it finally be cool!) weather and have some fun. Soup's back! There's something about Fall {even when it feels like Summer outside!} that makes us all want a bowl of the good stuff. Hello, world.

Isn't there just something about a new baby that makes everything right with the world? This beautiful angel arrived to the Mitchell family recently and we couldn't be happier for them. Not only are they some of our favorite customers, but some of our favorite people as well. We are so thrilled their baby girl is here and can't wait to see her at Pizza by the Sea. Her proud big sister will have her outside hula hooping in no time. Congratulations, Mitchell family!

Seven and still heaven {cheesy, but true}

Wow! I don't think I've ever stayed away from the blog for so long. I have some good excuses. We were celebrating our 7-year anniversary. Today's the actual day. We joked that 10/4 would be easy for Bryan to remember as the years passed {Ten Four, Good Buddy}. We were also enjoying some time with our family in Texas. We attended my Mom & Dad's 30th anniversary at their church, where my dad is the head pastor at Glenview Baptist in Fort Worth. We were so proud to celebrate with them and all that they've accomplished. If only we could combine all of the amazing people in Texas with the amazing people here at the beach, life would be beyond perfect.

Thanks to all of our awesome employees for holding down the fort while we were away. We're back and ready to see our beach friends, so come have some pizza with us soon!
