See ya, school!

It was great to see so many kids at our place this weekend. They seemed especially excited to be finished with school for a while. It was also good to meet some new friends who just moved here from Birmingham. Welcome to all of our new residents and welcome tourists! {Thanks Seleta for providing some of the photos from your oh-so-cool iPhone.}

Get Fired Up

The next time it rains or when you just want something fun to do, head to Fired Up Paint Your Own Pottery in Seaside. We've enjoyed this shop since we were vacationing here years ago, and we are happy to say that it is still the best place around to make your own masterpiece. The owners and employees make everyone feel welcome - especially little ones as they guide them through the process. Fired Up is now hosting Kids Pizza Parties so Mom & Dad can have a night out while the kiddos paint a plate and have pizza from our place. For more info, visit their website. Thanks, Jim & Stacy for bringing so much fun to Seaside!

Missing a limb

I lost my camera charger and had no idea it would be so expensive to replace. Nevertheless, I have wanted a new camera for some time and I guess this is my nudge in that direction. In the meantime, I knew I loved taking pictures, but had no idea how dependent upon it I've become. I take photos for this blog, and it goes without saying that our little one is probably the most documented child in America. My buddy Scott Cobine was nice enough to let me hijack his camera phone for a few shots last week, so here they are.

Incidentally, Scott is an awesome realtor. Check out some of his listings here like this one in Seaside that is beyond gorgeous.
